Product Description

It is a kind of paramaganetic contrast agent used in MRI. Due to its confirmed effect and mild side effect, Dimeglumine Gapentetate Injection has become the most widely used MRI contrast agent.

[Properties]
This product is colorless or nearly colorless transparent liquid.

[Indications]
Nuclear magnetic resonance imaging of central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), abdomen, chest, pelvic cavity, four extremities and other human organs and tissues. It is also used to evaluate renal function.

[Product features]

4. Most of the drug is excreted from the kidneys rapidly in the original form.

[Announcements]

1. The patients with severe renal impairment, epilepsy, hypotension, asthma and other allergic respiratory diseases should use it cautiously.

2. Avoid extravasation of the liquid during injection to prevent pain of the tissue.

3. Some patients present the increases of serum iron and bilirubin without any symptom, which can recover to normal levels within 24 hours.

4. The pregnant women and women during lactation should use it with great caution because the animal experiments indicated that some medicine can enter into the milk.

5. The valid enhancement time of this product is 45 minutes. The MRI examination should be conducted immediately after the intravenous injection.

6. The retained liquid after examination can not be used again.

7. The relevant safety regulations of MRI examination should be followed during the usage of this product.
